Scindapsus ‘Golden Queen’ on Moss Pole | 4L Pot | By Plant Theory
Scindapsus is better known by its common name of Devil’s Ivy, and it has been named this because it can survive even in low light. Naturally found in tropical forests around the world, Devil’s Ivy is a natural climber (as you’d expect) and in this instance, has been trained up a moss pole for added height. The graceful, glossy heart-shaped leaves are a variegated mix of greens and yellow that will look wonderful trailing down a bookcase, shelf, or curtain rail. NASA has also named Devil’s Ivy as one of the best air-purifying plants. As such, it will remove pollutants from the air (whilst looking beautiful of course). Thriving in indirect as well as low light, it will certainly prove the perfect first plant.
