The Zamioculcas is primaeval in its appearance and indestructible in its nature, making it a great houseplant for beginners. Though the debate is ongoing on whether it’s a fern, a succulent or something else entirely, you can be certain that with this plant you’ll be adding one of the oldest varieties of house plant you can purchase to your collection! A long history, means great survival skills and these plants are able to stand a little neglect. They only require watering once a fortnight and are perfectly happy in light shade meaning they can be situated anywhere in the home. Their distinctive feathered shape foliage makes them a stylish addition to home interiors and this variety comes in a dark shade of almost black. They are one of the best air purifying plants though all parts of the plant are also poisonous, so should be kept out of reach of pets and children.
