40-50cm Schefflera ‘Gold Cappella’ | Umbrella Tree | 13cm Pot | By Plant Theory
The Schefflera is an easy to care for variety of house plant that’s great for beginners. An upright plant with great foliage; stems will shoot off the main stalk with a grouping of leaves at each end. Each group of leaves will droop and fan out like an umbrella giving the Schefflera the common name of umbrella plant. You can tell the maturity of these species by the number of leaves on each stem, with mature plants having 12 to 16 leaves on each! Umbrella plants only require indirect light, though these variegated types may need a little more.
They are toxic when ingested so should be kept out of reach of pets and small children but their easy care makes them ideal for office spaces.
